Best pizza places in Barcelona

Date:

These are the best pizza places in Barcelona, according to the Americans in Barcelona community on Instagram!

So, we popped up the question on Instagram and these were the pizza places featured by our followers.

Pizza places in Eixample

Parking Pizza

What makes this pizza place in Barcelona such a special place is its original concept: when you come in, it looks like a parking lot, and then as you walk in you find this huge industrial place with long tables and a really cool atmosphere. It is a wide and open space and the kitchen is also part of the picture: while you eat you can see how they make the pizzas and put in the wood ovens.  Also, the pizzas are delicious! (Our favorite: Fontina).

Address: Passeig de Sant Joan 56, this one is the one we have described, but they have also opened a second one in carrer Londres, 98 (this is a smaller space,  but also decorated following the concept of a parking lot).

Grosso Napoletano

This was also another pizza place in Barcelona featured by some of our followers, located in the Eixample neighborhood. Grosso Napoletano defines their product as “authentic neapolitan pizzas”. And actually they have become a pizza place chain with around 20 Grosso Napoletano in Spain.

Address: Passeig de Sant Joan, 25. And they also have a second pizza place in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi (Casanova 209).

Pizza places in Sants

La Briciola

If we say Giuseppe Prestanizzi, that might ring a bell. You might have seen him in one of his many videos on Youtube! Besides being so popular on social networks, he also owns a pizza place in Barcelona, located in the Sants neighborhood. This pizza place opened in 1989 and since then they haven’t stopped working on their napolitan-essence pizzas in a place that is one of the most genuine pizza places in Barcelona.

Address: Olzinelles, 19.

Pizza places in el Born

NAP Antic

NAP is the designation for Neapolitan Authentic Pizza. This pizza place in Barcelona was founded by a Napoletanean and a Spanish guy, from the idea of searching for the authenticity of the Mediterranean slow life. The result: a place with many people waiting in line to be served or just pick up a slice of this authentic neapolitan pizza.

Address: Avinguda de Francesc Cambó, 30. They also opened a second NAP in la Barceloneta neighborhood (carrer Baluard, 69). And besides their pizza shops in Barcelona, they have managed to open new places in Madrid and San Sebastián.

Pizza places in Raval

Franki Gallo Cha Cha Aha

When you think of the coolest pizza places in Barcelona, Franki Gallo Cha Cha Cha would probably fit on that definition. A modern aesthetic with its neon lights built a really particular place where pizzas are also different and yummy! A meeting point specially for young people on a Friday or Saturday night, when it gets pretty crowded but at the same time filled with those good vibes.

Address: Marquès de Barberà, 15

Pizza places in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi

La Balmesina

Founded by three Italians in 2017, La Balmesina is an Italian restaurant specialized in “pizzas gourmet” as they define it. And besides the gourmet pizzas, they also offer homemade Italian dishes, as well as natural wines. We listed this pizza place as located in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, but is really close to the Gràcia neighborhood.
