Wondering where to go ice skating in Barcelona? Especially when Christmas season arrives, Barcelona is filled with ice rinks all over the city. So why not spend a Christmas evening ice skating in Barcelona with your family or friends? Here are some of the ice rinks that you can enjoy:
Palau de Gel (the FC Barcelona ice rink)
Temporary closed. Palau de Gel is located in one of the sports pavilion of Futbol Club Barcelona. It is also where its ice hockey and artistic skating team play. So if you are also a FC Barcelona fan, you might want to visit the Camp Nou and know more about this internationally known soccer club.

Ice skating in Barcelona during Christmas
A new ice rink: Llums de Sant Pau
The Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau, Sant Pau Art Nouveau site, is bringing something new this year placing an ice rink to ice staking. Besides its special Christmas lights event “Llums de Sant Pau”, this year you can also enjoy the new ice rink in an emblematic place.
Address: Recinte modernista de Sant Pau.
Ticket: You have to buy the ticket for the event “Llums de Sant Pau”, and by paying additional 5€ you can access the ice rink.
Ice rink in Barcelona at Illa Diagonal
This Barcelona ice rink is smaller. But since it is located in a mall you can take advantage and spend the evening ice skating in Barcelona after doing the Christmas shopping.
Address: Jardins Sant Joan de Déu (gardens inside the mall).
Ticket + roller skates: 5€
Ice rink from the heights: Tibidabo, amusement park
Recently, Parc d’Atraccions Tibidabo, has included an ice rink in their amusement park during Christmas.
Address: Plaça dels Somnis, Parc d’Atraccions del Tibidabo.
Ticket: If you are spending the day at the park, the pass to the ice rink is included. If you only want to ice skating at the ice rink, the ticket price is 5€.
Ice rink in La Maquinista
During Christmas, the mall “La Maquinista” sets an ice rink on the ground floor. So if you are going shopping with children, you might want to end the journey with this Christmas activity, skating in the ice rink.

Near Barcelona, in la Farga de l’Hospitalet: Kaliu Park
If you are an ice skating lover and already have been to all the ice rinks in Barcelona, here is another option not in Barcelona but pretty near to the city: Kaliu Park, in La Farga de l’Hospitalet de Llobregat. During 9 days, this place hosts Christmas activities which also includes having fun while ice skating.

Ice skating in Barcelona (from the couch)
But you might want to get that ice skating feeling but without moving from the house.
