We love this book so much, also among our favorite books about Barcelona. Especially because when walking the streets and squares of the Gràcia neighborhood you can connect with Mercè Rododera’s stories. La Plaça del Diamant, follows the life of Natalia, a young woman whose dreams and aspirations collide with the harsh realities of the Spanish Civil War and its aftermath.
